T.O.R. Outreach Specialist Services
- Participate in on-going community outreach, needs assessment, survey implementation, key
informant interviews, focus groups and more as needed. - Deliver strategic messaging, social marketing, other communication technologies, and
community prevention activities. - Maintain logs reflecting outreach activities.
- Make appropriate referrals to outside sources e.g., health centers, treatment programs, mental health agencies, housing, and other organizations as required, including assisting with the intake process for substance abuse treatment.
- Disseminate the opioid
overdose antidote, naloxone
if needed.
Our Mission
The Tribal Opioid Response is dedicated to assist our wind river native communities
through the recovery process using traditional teachings. If there are any issues that
arise during your recovery journey, the TOR outreach specialist should be your point of contact to provide support where we are able to.
TOR will be there to assist when we are needed and we will guide you and support you to the best of our abilities.
